Hotel Monopole, Milan

The hotel didn't meet my expectations as the pictures on the booking site were far from reality. The rooms look nothing like in the photos, with old 1960's style chairs and outdated furniture. However, the room was spotlessly clean, no unpleasant odors, good bathroom with a spacious shower and plenty of hot water, comfortable beds, and a satisfying breakfast, better than the cheapest options available.

The hotel is ideally located near the main train station Milano Centrale, making it convenient for transportation. The rooms, while small, are quiet, clean, and provide good water pressure. However, they may not match the photos on the website. The service was somewhat lacking in that there were noise disturbances from cleaning early in the morning. The breakfast offers a decent variety but may run out of items during peak hours. Overall, the location is a standout feature, but some service issues could be improved.
